365体育投注The Panthers, who finished with 24 turnovers while going 7 for 22 on free throws, were led by MIchaelson’s double-double of 25 points and 17 rebounds with four steals. Gabe Arola grabbed eight rebounds and Haas had seven assists as Park Rapids fell to 3-23 on the season.

“The keys to winning were converting on those free throw chances and taking care of the basketball. Park Rapids was very aggressive in their 1-3-1 trap, and we allowed ourselves to get trapped at times. When we slowed things down, moved the ball and stayed out of the areas where they were trapping, we were successful,” said Menahga head coach Zach Kaiser. “Usually a team wants to push the ball in order to not allow the zone to set up, but Park Rapids was setting up in it in transition and we'd speed dribble into trap spots. When we reversed the ball as the trap was coming, we were able to find guys open down low and take advantage of the pressure up top.”
